This message is to state that project NLPTK (Natural Language Processing ToolKit) is officialy closed. The work on Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics in general has no stopped. Actually, some new things are on the way.
The author of NLPTK has always been interested in Computation Linguistics and the work of Traduki/NLPTK has evolved into a new, much more professional project (but still open source, don't worry!) called Hermes. Hermes is by far much more interesting than what NLPTK was supposed to be and there should be no reason to "feel sorry" for NLPTK. However, we always need to move when it is needed...
Please update your bookmarks, if any, and visit the Hermes homepage to take a look at what we have been doing here in South Brazil. And thank you to all of you that, at some time, spent a few minutes with NLPTK.
